Big game this now. They're getting beat 2-0 so that could work either way. They could be really down after been realistically dumped out of the title race or they could be fired up depending on their character.
With City hot favourites to beat Bolton a loss for us would give them a big lift but a win for us would really set us up for the City game and put us within 2 of Arsenal.

We will find it very hard to win with 4-2-3-1 and masch and lucas playing because neither of them are really attacking players.

For me aquilani has to play. If you look at how chelsea played today. They didn't really have a midfield. Rather, they had "attackers" and "defenders". When arsenal came forward chelsea had two very tight banks of four but in the first half if arsenal lost postion it would suddenly turn into 4 attackers going forward and pretty much a 4 vs 4.

But therein lies our weakness, neither we nor anyone else in the league has two world class CF's to counter with. We have to stop arsenal playing just as chelsea did. Very hard to call this game.

2nd half Arsenal had nothing. Chelsea defended well but nothing outstanding.

Get the tactics right and we could beat them as easily as chelsea did. Get them wrong and we will get hammered.

3-5-2 for us, with two wing backs to cope with Arshavin etc cutting inside, they barely looked to cut through Chelsea today..

We need to be sound defensively like the past few weeks and hope to get a goal from a set play etc.

Looking forward to this one. 2 defeats on the trot for Arsenal, hopefully will be 3 come 10pm Wednesday. If we had Torres id be a lot more confident but we have gotten results away from home at tougher places than the Emirates so as long as we stay confident I don't see why we cant win.
